Summary : With a proactive approach, the employee enthusiastically delivers expert technical support on U.S. Navy ships, focusing on NATO Seasparrow NSSMS systems and networks.

Duties and Responsibilities :

\n

• Direct, oversee repair activities, train, troubleshoot, diagnose, and maintain the following :

\n

o MK57 NATO SEASPARROW Surface Missile System (NSSMS)

\n

o Associated Linux-based software and networks

\n

\n

\n

Required Qualifications :

\n

\n

\n

\n

\n

\n

\n \n

ADA Notations : \n

Frequent standing, sitting, walking, handling, feeling with hands, reaching with arms

\n

Regular Communication (hearing and speaking)

\n

Occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, and lifting of heavy objects

\n

Ability to go aboard ships, barges and other naval craft

\n

Ability to move in narrow and restricted passageways, up / down steep and narrow ladders or stairways onboard ships

\n

Ability to lift, carry and move objects up to 50 lbs. in weight

\n

Industrial, shop environment

\n

Travel may be required within and outside of the continental United States
