• Assesses patient response to dialysis therapy.\n
• Makes appropriate adjustments and modifications to treatment plans as indicated / directed by supervisors or prescribed by the physician.\n
• Assessment of patient pre, interim, and post dialysis and documentation of findings.\n
• Administers medications as ordered to assigned patients.\n
• Assesses educational needs of patient and educating the patient and family regarding end stage renal disease, dialysis therapy, diet and medications.\n
• Flexibility to travel to the assignment location.\n
• Availability to work the facility's required schedule.\n
• Willingness to complete onboarding items in a timely manner.\n
• Ability to quickly adapt to new environments and strive for the highest quality of patient care.\n
• Also referred to as : Renal care licensed practical nurse, dialysis licensed vocational nurse, LVN.\n\nJob Requirements\n
• 1+ year of recent experience as a dialysis nurse\n
• Graduate from an accredited nursing school\n
• Current state specific nursing license in good standing, or if applicable, a compact state RN license in good standing\n
• BLS certification required (Chronic and Acute settings)\n
• ACLS certification required (Acute setting only)\n\n#qtsMP
