In collaboration with interventional radiologists and nursing, this job safely prepares for and scrubs into interventional procedures. It requires advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography and adherence to radiation safety protocols.

Education
Required - Completion of a Radiologic Technology program in an AMA-approved school
Work Experience
Required - None
Preferred - 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology
Certifications
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT), Licensed by the Louisiana State Radiology Technology Board of Examiners (LSRTBE), Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred - Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology

Physical and Environmental Demands
