Senior Investment Accountant

A company is looking for a Senior Investment Accountant.

Key Responsibilities :

Manage the organization's investment portfolio and record all activity in the general ledger

Analyze monthly investment portfolio spreadsheets for accuracy and prepare journal entries

Compile and analyze schedules for organization and affiliate investments in support of the annual financial statement audit

Qualifications and Requirements :

Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field, or equivalent work experience

A minimum of four (4) years of experience in investment / finance accounting, preferably in non-profits

Advanced knowledge of accounting procedures, GAAP, and financial reporting

Advanced knowledge of investments including stocks, bonds, and private equity

Proficiency with modern accounting software preferred
