Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol

As a Security Professional - Armed Government Patrol in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol designated government locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and maintaining a secure environment. Your visible presence and routine patrols will play a key role in supporting a welcoming atmosphere while providing outstanding customer service and communication. This position requires you to carry a firearm as part of your daily responsibilities. Pay Rate : $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule :

Day Time Mon 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Tue 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Wed 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Thur 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

Sun 07 : 00 AM - 03 : 00 PM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
  • Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the government location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and / or suspicious behavior.
  • Monitor access points and verify credentials to help to deter unauthorized entry.
  • Complete detailed reports on incidents, observations, and daily activities as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
  • Collaborate with local law enforcement and / or emergency services when necessary.
  • Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to staff and visitors at the government location.

  • Reliability and ability to adapt to different post assignments
  • A desire to gain broad experience and grow within the company
  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • CPR and / or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
