Perform procedures as needed Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation. Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers. Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement. Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety. Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice. Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards. Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices. Participate in ongoing medical education and training. Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. Board-certified / eligible in General Surgery; License to practice in Tennessee; Have PALS, BLS, ACLS certifications; Have an unrestricted license to practice in TN, and DEA and NPI And possess excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, and share our vision to create healthier communities! As a fully integrted member of the General Surgery team, the Colorectal Surgeon position will enjoy the support of a larger team dynamic.
