Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.\n\nOpportunity : \n\nRN - CVICU\n\nJob Details : \n\n
• Provide direct patient care to medical / surgical / cardiovascular patients requiring advanced monitoring\n
• Operate advanced medical equipment including central lines, A-lines, multiple IVs, balloon pumps, and Impella pumps\n
• Care for patients requiring ventilation support or continuous renal replacement therapy\n
• Provide care for general medical and surgical patients on the in-patient unit\n
• Assess and implement established policies and procedures with minimal supervision\n
• Act as clinical leader and assist with precepting staff\n
• Provide direct patient care from admission to discharge including discharge planning\n
• Give direction to RN, LPN, CNA, housekeeping staff, and dietary staff\n
• Receive direction from providers, charge nurse, acute care director, and chief nursing officer\n
• Willing to care for PCU and medical surgical patients when no ICU / CVICU patients are in house\n
