Job Title : Registered Pharmacy Technician
Job Description
The Pharmacy Technician is responsible for responding to both inbound and outbound calls, ensuring exceptional customer service while maximizing productivity. This role involves direct interactions with customers, both in-person and over the phone, to address a wide range of inquiries. The technician will answer questions related to pharmacy services, manage delivery inquiries, handle refill calls, and assist with pharmacy-related queries. Additionally, the role involves resolving customer complaints, processing new pharmacy referrals, verifying insurance coverage, facilitating prior authorization requests, transcribing prescriptions accurately, generating reports, and coordinating delivery services. The technician serves as the first point of contact for service-related inquiries and will support pharmacological services by managing insurance information, billing, and updating patient records according to HIPAA regulations.

Work Environment
This position is 100% onsite at a specialty pharmacy attached to a community clinic. The work schedule is Monday through Thursday full days and Fridays from 8 : 30 AM to 12 : 30 PM, with an unpaid lunch hour. Technicians are welcome to shorten their lunch breaks to maximize pay. The environment is high volume, with the pharmacy team filling 100-150 scripts per day. The team consists of four technicians and one pharmacist. The work culture is family-oriented, with opportunities for permanent employment, 401k match, tuition forgiveness, and six paid federal holidays while on contract.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Plantation, Florida. This role is moving to Miami Gardens, FL in 2026.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $20.00 / hr.
