Location : West Palm Beach, FL

Schedule : Full-time | M-F 9am–5pm (some evenings / weekends)

Position Summary :

Vita Nova is seeking a compassionate and experienced Licensed Therapist (LMHC, LCSW, LMFT) to deliver trauma-informed mental health services. Working primarily at the Spot , our low-barrier drop-in center, and within our supportive housing programs, the Therapist provides individual and group counseling and crisis intervention, and connects youth to other essential community resources. This is a highly collaborative, hands-on role requiring strong clinical judgment, youth engagement skills, and a commitment to holistic care.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Provide individual and group therapy
  • Conduct risk assessments and create treatment / safety plans
  • Coordinate referrals and community-based supports
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation and case files
  • Facilitate wellness activities and youth engagement programs
  • Support housing stability through mediation, conflict resolution, and de-escalation
  • Supervise clinical interns and represent Vita Nova in community partnerships

Qualifications :

  • Active Florida license (LMHC, LCSW, or LMFT); Qualified Supervisor preferred
  • Master's in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
  • 3-5 years' experience in the mental health / social work field, ideally with young adults
  • Knowledge of PBC homelessness system a plus
  • Trained in CBT, TF-CBT, or other evidence-based modalities
  • Strong clinical documentation and client engagement skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and general computer literacy
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must pass Level 2 background check and drug screen
  • Valid FL driver's license and reliable transportation required
