Our Part-Time positions also include : Dental Retirement savings (403(b)) Tuition reimbursement Pet Insurance Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions in math for students of varying ages and skill levels. Assist students in understanding math concepts across subjects such as arithmetic, algebra, geometry, and pre-calculus. Develop individualized learning plans based on student needs, progress, and curriculum requirements. Use a variety of instructional techniques to explain concepts clearly and effectively. Track and assess student progress, providing feedback and adjusting instructional strategies as needed. Support students with homework, test preparation, and class assignments. Encourage critical thinking and problem-solving skills in mathematical contexts. Maintain accurate session records and communicate regularly with parents, teachers, or program staff. Create a positive, supportive, and respectful learning environment. Stay current with educational best practices and relevant curriculum standards. A Certified Math Teacher Willingness to go through (and pass!) the required clearances and training to ensure the safety and security of our children, including : four clearances, mandated reporter training, a physical, and TB test. This can typically be accomplished within a week to get you started. Capacity for sitting, standing, walking, bending and stopping for long periods of time, as these happen throughout the eight-hour day.
