Process Engineering Manager

Position Summary

The Process Engineering Manager is responsible for planning and directing the activities of the Engineering group to improve productivity, quality, and capacity, and to support production of new products and materials through the development and application of new manufacturing technologies. The Manager will supervise and develop four process engineers.

Team Overview and Responsibilities

• Utilize project management techniques to forecast, manage, and coordinate project budgets and schedules
• Lead continuous improvement activities to achieve the annual plan of proficiency projects
• Lead and enforce safety, health and environmental culture in the team and daily tasks
• Recruit, develop and guide resources to improve total performance and productivity
• Effectively manage multiple, complex tasks and handle pressure on an ongoing basis
• Prepare and annually update the capital plan to support the business plan and manage capital project execution within budget and timeline
• Develop and maintain process standards, procedures and specifications to ensure consistent product quality
