IT PROJECT MANAGER

PURPOSE OF POSITION

The IT Project Manager is responsible for leading and coordinating technology projects across AultCare and as needed, Aultman Health Foundation. This position ensures that projects are planned, executed, and completed on time, within scope, and within budget while aligning with organizational priorities. The IT Project Manager will work directly with the CIO, departmental leaders, and operational stakeholders to translate business needs into actionable project plans and serve as a bridge between technical and operational teams.

This individual will also participate in strategic sessions, providing input on project prioritization, technology initiatives, and enterprise planning to ensure alignment with AultCare’s and Aultman’s broader IT strategy.

RESPONSIBILITIES & EXPECTATIONS

Responsibility

Description

Project Planning & Execution

Develop and manage detailed project plans, timelines, and deliverables to ensure successful project completion.

Cross-Functional Collaboration

Serve as a liaison between IT and operational departments across AultCare and Aultman, ensuring alignment and clear communication.

Status Tracking & Reporting

Maintain project trackers, prepare progress reports, and present updates to the CIO and key stakeholders.

Strategic Participation

Attend and contribute to strategic planning sessions, helping align projects with organizational objectives.

Risk & Issue Management

Identify potential risks, dependencies, and resource constraints; proactively develop mitigation strategies.

Process Improvement

Recommend and implement improvements in project workflows, documentation, and governance.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Education : Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field required.
Experience : Minimum of 3–5 years of IT project management experience, preferably within healthcare or insurance environments.
Preferred Certifications but not required : PMP (Project Management Professional), CAPM, or equivalent project management certification.
PM Software : Experience with Project management software (Jira, Zoho, Monday.com etc.)

PREFERRED Skills

Strong organizational and multitasking abilities

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Ability to translate business requirements into technical deliverables

Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, or equivalent)

Knowledge of healthcare or payer operations preferred

Analytical and problem-solving mindset

Collaborative leadership and relationship-building skills across technical and operational teams

WORKING CONDITIONS :

8 : 00am – 5 : 00pm M-F or hours as required by the job. Occasional weekends and off -shifts.

Subject to frequent interruptions and changes in priority of duties throughout the day.
