Job Description & Requirements Specialty : Endoscopy Discipline : RN Start Date : 11 / 17 / 2025 Duration : 13 weeks 40 hours per week Shift : 8 hours, days Employment Type : Travel Position Details Job Title : RN GI Lab / Endoscopy Location : Elmira, NY Start Date : September 28, 2025 End Date : December 27, 2025 Shift : Days, 6 : 30 AM - 3 : 00 PM (variable, could be 8 : 00 AM - 4 : 30 PM) Key Requirements & Responsibilities Experience : A minimum of 2 years of experience is required. Skills : The ideal candidate will have experience with interventional GI procedures . We are open to considering an operating room (OR) nurse with Endoscopy training or experience, or a nurse with a sole focus on Endoscopy. Patient Care : You will be responsible for providing care to both outpatients and inpatients . On-Call : On-call duties are required. You will be on call every 6th weekend for the entire 48-hour period, unless you arrange a shift swap with other staff. Nursing Process : You will be expected to perform all duties related to the nursing process, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care. This includes providing patient education and maintaining accurate documentation. Professional Standards : You must be prepared to follow all established standards of care, policies, and procedures set by the Medical Center and the Division of Nursing.
