JOB SUMMARY

The US Tax Operations team is responsible for all reporting obligations for the Firm’s Wealth Management and Institutional clients, ensuring compliance with IRS regulations. The team collaborates closely with cross-organizational operations teams to reconcile discrepancies, ensure accurate regulatory reporting, and support strategic platform initiatives. The Gain & Loss department maintains cost basis records and provides Gain / Loss reporting for assets held in MS Wealth Management customer accounts.

Key Responsibilities

• Handle reporting obligations in compliance with IRS regulations
• Reconcile discrepancies between various processing systems
• Ensure accuracy of regulatory reporting, including cost basis and withholding
• Support testing and requirements for strategic platform initiatives
• Collaborate with cross-organizational operations teams and respond to related queries
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting tight operational and annual deadlines
• Exercise sound judgment and attention to detail in all tasks
