Electrical Inspector

Under general supervision, independently performs skilled technical work in the inspection of electrical construction projects to ensure compliance with state electrical codes. Performs related work as assigned. Location : Custer, Greeley, Hall, Howard, Sherman, and Valley Counties.

Examples of Work :

• Conducts electrical inspection of new wiring and equipment in commercial, industrial, and public use buildings for compliance with the National Electrical Code; conducts inspections on other installations at owner's request; prepares inspection reports covering compliance or non-compliance, action taken, and final status; maintains records and files of inspection reports, correspondence, and investigation.
• Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with the other staff members, building owners, contractors, and the general public.
