Key Responsibilities

Paid Influencer Strategy & Activation :

  • Architect and execute high-performance paid influencer campaigns across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms that drive awareness, consideration, and conversion for Verizon products and services
  • Transform Verizon marketing objectives into creator-led paid media strategies that breakthrough in an oversaturated digital landscape
  • Lead influencer media buying, negotiation, and contract management to maximize performance and budget efficiency
  • Partner with the company's Marketing and Communications teams to integrate paid influencer activations into broader paid, earned, owned, and shared campaign strategies and tentpole moments

Campaign Execution & Project Management :

  • Lead end-to-end paid influencer campaign execution from strategy through reporting, moving at the necessary speed
  • Develop detailed project plans with clear milestones, deliverables, and accountability across fast-moving campaign timelines
  • Coordinate seamlessly with creative, strategy, media, and account teams to ensure integrated execution and brand consistency
  • Manage creator relationships throughout paid partnerships, ensuring deliverables meet brand standards and contractual obligations
  • Implement quality control processes that maintain Verizon's brand integrity across all paid influencer content
  • Analytics, Measurement & Insights :

  • Leverage influencer marketing platforms and analytics tools to monitor real-time performance and optimize campaigns in-flight
  • Deliver comprehensive takeaways based on performance with actionable insights that demonstrate ROI and inform future strategy
  • Translate complex performance data into clear, compelling narratives for client presentations and strategic recommendations
  • Stay ahead of platform algorithm changes, emerging metrics, and industry best practices to continuously elevate measurement approaches
  • Team Leadership & Development :

  • Lead and inspire a team of 3-4 influencer marketing professionals, providing clear direction, mentorship, and growth opportunities
  • Foster a high-performance culture where speed, quality, and collaboration drive exceptional client work
  • Delegate effectively while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical campaign moments and client interactions
  • Develop team capabilities in paid media strategy, platform expertise, and data-driven optimization

  • Client Partnership & Strategic Counsel :

  • Serve as the go-to paid influencer expert for Verizon, building trust through consistent delivery and proactive strategic thinking
  • Present campaign strategies, performance results, and optimization recommendations to Verizon leadership with confidence and clarity
  • Anticipate client needs and market shifts, bringing forward-thinking ideas that keep Verizon ahead of competitors
  • Respond rapidly to client requests and market opportunities, maintaining exceptional responsiveness even in high-pressure situations
  • Partner with Verizon teams to understand business priorities, product launches, and marketing calendars to ensure influencer strategies align with broader objectives
  • Budget Management & Performance Optimization :

  • Own and manage substantial paid influencer budgets, ensuring optimal allocation across campaigns, platforms, and creator partnerships
  • Oversee payment of influencers, leveraging payment system, releasing payment according to contracts and completion of services
  • Manage comprehensive budget tracking systems with real-time visibility into spend, pacing, and performance against KPIs
  • Negotiate creator rates and partnership terms that deliver strong ROI while maintaining authentic brand alignment
  • What We're Looking For

    Required Qualifications :

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Advertising, or related field
  • 5-7 years of experience developing and executing paid influencer marketing campaigns, preferably within agency or large brand environments
  • Proven track record managing significant paid influencer budgets ($500K+ annually) with demonstrated ROI
  • Deep expertise in paid influencer activations across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and emerging social platforms
  • Experience in consumer brand marketing with strong preference for technology, telecommunications, or consumer electronics sectors
  • Advanced proficiency with influencer marketing platforms (CreatorIQ, Traackr, AspireIQ, Klear, or similar)
  • Strong analytical skills with experience building measurement frameworks and performance dashboards
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and develop teams of 3-5 professionals
  • Exceptional project management skills with proven ability to execute multiple complex campaigns simultaneously under tight deadlines
  • Expert negotiation skills for creator contracts, partnership terms, and budget optimization
  • Outstanding client communication and presentation abilities with experience presenting to senior marketing leadership
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, project management tools (Asana, Smartsheet, Airtable), and media analytics platforms
  • Preferred Qualifications :

  • Previous experience working on telecommunications, technology, or consumer electronics brands
  • Agency background with Fortune 100 client experience
  • Familiarity with paid social media buying and performance marketing principles
  • Experience integrating paid influencer strategies with broader media plans and marketing campaigns
  • Knowledge of FTC compliance, influencer disclosure requirements, and platform advertising policies
  • Existing relationships within the creator economy and influencer management community
