Position Summary :

Under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, the Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) provides patient care in a long-term care setting. Responsibilities include implementing therapeutic interventions such as exercise, massage, gait, and balance training. The PTA documents patient progress and communicates treatment outcomes to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Key Responsibilities :

Assist patients in achieving mobility and functional goals.

Implement individualized treatment plans as directed by a licensed Physical Therapist.

Record patient progress and report findings to the supervising Physical Therapist.

Maintain compliance with facility policies, procedures, and safety standards.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary staff to provide optimal patient care.

Requirements :

2 years PTA experience – Required

TX or Compact License – Required
