LANDSCAPE DESIGN DRAFTING ASSISTANT DUTIES INCLUDE :

  • Hand and computer graphics.
  • Strong presentation graphics including 3-D perspectives.
  • Experience executing construction grading and details.
  • Thorough understanding of developing full plans in AutoCAD.
  • Landscape design experience is a plus.
  • Ability to express unique talents and creative solutions while working within the framework of our team structure.
  • Assist in identifying, designing, and estimating hardscape projects (flatwork / hardscape / underground / structural concrete construction) for existing commercial / governmental clients as well as new commercial clients.
  • Establish relationships with vendors, architects, engineers, and industry-related firms.

QUALIFICATIONS :

  • Associate's Degree (or another 2-year degree) / Some College Courses.
  • 1-2 years of professional experience in design / project management / construction is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic, attention to detail, an interest in the construction process, and willingness to take on different challenges.
  • Field experience a plus, but not required.
  • Software Skills : AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Proficiency with ESRI ArcGIS is a plus!

    • COMPENSATION / BENEFITS :

  • $13.00 - $16.00 per hour.
  • Medical, Dental, Vision, Liability, and several more supplemental insurance options.

    • EXPERIENCE :

    Design / Project Management / Construction : 1 - 2 years.

    EDUCATION :

    Associate's Degree (or another 2-year degree) / Some College Courses.

    SOFTWARE SKILLS :

    AutoCAD, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite.
