Position Overview

As a Nursing Assistant (NA) , you will play a vital role in delivering resident-centered care and daily living assistance in our long-term care facility. Your work will directly impact the lives of our residents, ensuring they receive the support they need in a nurturing environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care to residents, assisting with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
  • Monitor and record vital signs, offering psychosocial support as needed.
  • Assist residents with mobility, using appropriate techniques and equipment.
  • Enhance the dining experience by assisting with meals and snacks.
  • Document resident interactions and communicate any changes in condition to the charge nurse.
  • Support wellness and recreational programs, encouraging resident participation.
  • Maintain cleanliness in living areas through housekeeping and laundry services.

Requirements & Qualifications

  • Experience : Long-term care experience preferred (6 months preferred, 3 months required).
  • Education : High school diploma or GED preferred.
  • Certification : Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification required within four months of hire.
  • Additional Certifications : Depending on the facility, Qualified Medication Administration Person (QMAP) certification may be required.
  • Driving Requirements : May require a valid driver's license and motor vehicle report, depending on facility needs.

    • Working Conditions

  • Shift : Varies, with a PRN schedule.
  • Location : Must support multiple locations within 150 miles of your permanent address.
  • Weekend Commitment : One weekend shift per month.

  • Competitive Pay : $25 / hour evening / night shift differential (6 : 00 PM - 6 : 00 AM) and weekend shift differential.
  • Mileage Reimbursement : Provided for travel between locations.
