Colorectal Surgery Coder

Locations :   Remote (Open to all states, aside from CA, WA, OR, CO, NV, NY)

Duration :   6 month contract-to-hire - reliable employees will be given a chance to convert at the end of the contract period

PR :  $25-30hr

Requirements :

• Minimum of 2-5 years of experience in general surgical coding, with a focus on colorectal procedures (professional fee based).
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems.
• Certified Professional Coder (CPC) certification required.

Insight Global is looking for a dedicated and experienced Colorectal Surgical Medical Coder to join our team remotely. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately coding colorectal surgical procedures and diagnoses using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS codes. This role requires a strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, and surgical procedures, as well as excellent communication skills to interact with healthcare providers and ensure accurate coding and billing.
