Recreation Aide

Cornerstone Assisted Living, a Cassia community, is hiring friendly and enthusiastic Activities Assistants to join our team! If you have a heart for serving older adults and want to make a positive impact, this is the place for you. As an Activities Assistant at Cornerstone , you will help plan and lead engaging programs that promote socialization, creativity, and fun for our residents. This position is ideal for someone who is energetic, outgoing, and enjoys making meaningful connections through daily interactions and special events.

Position Type : Full-Time

Hours : 8 : 00 am to 4 : 30 pm Monday through Friday. Must be able to work an occasional Saturday for activity purposes.

28 per hour depending on experience

Activities Assistant Responsibilities :

Encourage, support, and assist residents with activities.

Interact and assist residents on a one-to-one basis outside of structured program times.

Document activity attendance and degree of involvement.

Display an attitude of courtesy and respect for all residents, families, and staff.

Activities Assistant Qualifications :

Creative aptitude for training in arts, crafts, and games.
