Security Officer - Access Control Patrol

As a Security Officer - Access Control Patrol in Fresno, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food / Beverage, and more.

As an Access Control Officer with Allied Universal at a leading food and beverage location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and conducting routine patrols throughout the facility. Your presence and professionalism will help create a welcoming atmosphere for employees and visitors, while supporting a secure environment. Pay Rate : $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule : DayTimeWed 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 30 AM Thur 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 30 AM Fri 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 30 AM Sat 09 : 00 PM - 05 : 30 AM

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Monitor access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and maintain authorized personnel flow in accordance with site-specific policies.
  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures and responding to inquiries.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and perimeter to observe for unusual activity and report findings.
  • Maintain accurate records of access control activities, visitor logs, and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site-specific guidelines.
  • Support emergency response activities when appropriate, including assisting with evacuations and / or lockdowns as directed.
  • Collaborate with site management and Allied Universal team members to address security-related concerns within the food and beverage production environment.

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
