Addison Group is hiring on behalf of our client, a healthcare provider specializing in home health and therapy services. This organization is expanding its in-house operations and is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage insurance authorizations and eligibility verification.

Job Description :

We are seeking an Authorizations and Eligibility Specialist to support the coordination of care for patients receiving home health, hospice, and therapy services. This role involves initiating and managing insurance authorizations, verifying eligibility, and communicating with payors and providers to ensure timely approvals.

Key Responsibilities :

• Initiate and manage insurance authorizations for home health, hospice, and therapy services.
• Monitor reauthorization timelines and ensure renewals are submitted before expiration.
• Gather and submit clinical documentation to support authorization requests.
• Verify patient eligibility and coverage across various payors.
• Communicate with insurance companies and providers via phone to resolve issues.
• Maintain productivity standards of approximately 10 authorizations per day.
• Assist with other revenue cycle tasks as needed.
