Description :

The position focuses on Rapid Response nursing in a labor and delivery unit.

The unit consists of 19 patient rooms, 6 PACU rooms, and 6 triage rooms.

There are 3 ORs designated for labor and delivery.

During the night shift, the staff matrix comprises 1 charge nurse, 7-9 registered nurses, and 1 surgical technologist.

The patient ratios are 2 : 1, with a 1 : 1 ratio for complicated cases.

Equipment utilized includes FHR monitors, fetal scalp electrodes, EMR systems, and various nursing tools.

Typical procedures encompass vaginal deliveries, C-section deliveries, and comprehensive nursing care.

Responsibilities involve assessment, diagnosis, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care for labor and delivery patients.

The ideal candidate should be flexible, friendly, and dependable.
