This position requires a strong understanding of the importance of safety and what it means to the construction industry.
How You Will Contribute Inspect and collect data from job sites through Loss Prevention Observations (LPOs).
Assist in accident / incident investigations and report to appropriate parties.
Assist in the training of new hires and other associated classifications.
Attend and participate in all internal / external safety related meetings, as needed.
Report malfunctioning or damaged equipment to the appropriate parties.
Respond to emergency situations when needed.
Perform other job-related duties as needed.
Promotes harmony among crews and between other personnel or contractor crews, internal and external customers.
Always maintain a positive attitude, especially in adverse situations, and be a positive influence within and outside the company.
Travel to job sites as needed.
Perform other job-related duties as requested by your supervisor.
What You Bring to the Table Valid Class C Driver's License with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within construction or related field.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications.
Ability to travel, drive for long periods of time, and stay overnight as required (within California).
Ability to work independently and complete daily activities according to work schedule.
Knowledge in California Government Code 4216 (USA North811), Title 8 (Cal / OSHA) or OSHA preferred.
OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification preferred.
Your Prior Experience High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Minimum 2 years of experience in construction or a related field required.
