Job Location : Warren, MI (Hybrid – 3 days onsite)

Job Type : Contract (1 Year)

Pay Range : $51.50 – 56.20 / hour

Shift Schedule : Hybrid Option – Mon & Fri; required office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Electrical Module Design Release Engineer (DRE) to lead the design, development, and validation of complex electronic components, with a focus on wireless charging systems. This role requires independent decision-making, strong cross-functional communication, and technical leadership from concept through production.

The ideal candidate brings experience with semiconductors and electronic modules, thrives in ambiguous environments, and works well both independently and collaboratively.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead technical project management and design release for wireless charging systems
• Define system / component requirements and create interface control documentation (ICD)
• Manage supplier relationships, timelines, and product development team (PDT) meetings
• Investigate technical issues and lead resolution efforts
• Develop and maintain technical specifications, best practices, and engineering documentation
• Support sourcing activities and manage part delivery for testing, retrofits, and production
• Perform design analysis and initiate engineering change documentation
• Support validation, integration, and testing of modules in lab and vehicle environments
• Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams and external suppliers
• Contribute to cost reduction, product improvement, and quality initiatives
