Description :

We are seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Medical Surgical for a float position.

The role involves caring for a diverse patient population with both surgical and medical needs.

Common diagnoses include joint replacements, fractures, bariatric, cardiovascular issues, and diabetes.

RNs will work collaboratively within a unit utilizing a nurse-to-patient ratio of 1 : 6 during nights.

Nurses are required to float to different areas within the department, offering flexible support as needed.

There will be a requirement for participation in holiday and weekend shifts on an alternating basis.

All staff must have BLS certification and maintain proficiency in monitoring technology, including telemetry.

The unit supports various respiratory treatments, including CPAP and BiPAP.

This position requires strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills for patient care.

A successful candidate must demonstrate adaptability to changing patient assignments and workload.
