A little about the job....

  • Directs functions and operations of Food and Nutrition Department at Coosa Valley Medical Center to include normal and therapeutic food service for inpatients, employees and public.
  • Plans, directs and coordinates nutritional care for hospital, Nursing Home and Transitional Care Unit
  • Qualifications for the job...

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Service Mgmt, Nutrition and / or Dietetics preferred.  Knowledge of basic office machines, computers with various software packages such as word processing and spreadsheets and patient therapeutic equipment / machin
  • Five to seven years' experience in Food Service Management including a minimum of 2 years specific to healthcare preferred.
