Systems Engineer

Join Point Solutions Group's growing Federal services team providing IT support to an Intelligence customer in Herndon, VA. We are looking for a Systems Engineer with a TS / SCI with adjudicated CI poly required prior to start.

Responsibilities :

Provide engineering support for the design, development, and integration of cross-functional IT solutions, including hardware, COTS software, and architectural components.

Define and manage system requirements, ensuring traceability through design, integration, and verification phases.

Support the delivery of IT infrastructure and software solutions, ensuring systems meet mission and operational requirements.

Utilize Microsoft Project to support schedule planning, development, and management, applying industry best practices and scheduling techniques.

Participate in agile project planning, leveraging tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps / TFS or JIRA to support iterative development and team collaboration.

Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to ensure solutions are integrated effectively and delivered on schedule.

Contribute to the development and documentation of system architecture, integration strategies, and engineering processes.

Required Qualifications :

Active TS / SCI clearance with adjudicated CI Polygraph (required prior to start).

Experience in system requirements definition, design, integration, and verification for IT infrastructure and software solutions.

Proficiency with Microsoft Project, including schedule planning, development, and best practices.

Experience with agile project planning and associated tools such as Microsoft Azure DevOps / TFS or JIRA.

Familiarity with IT infrastructure products and management solutions, including :

Windows Server administration, monitoring, and configuration tools

VMware solutions

DevSecOps technologies

Storage solutions

Cross domain solutions

Desired Qualifications :

Security certification such as Security+, CISSP, or SSCP.

Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.

Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented, mission-focused environment.
