Description :
The primary responsibility of the Winch Truck Driver is to meet the equipment needs of management and our customers by delivering and returning equipment in an efficient, safe, and courteous manner while adhering to strict DOT regulations.
Requirements :
- Operate winch tractor / trailer to deploy and retrieve our equipment to various oilfield locations at request of management our customer needs to their locations and fields
- Loading, unloading and delivering of equipment
- Delivery tools to vendors for repairs and picking-up repaired tools
- Delivering fuel to units in the field as required
- Performing inspection on assigned vehicle and trailers needed to deliver equipment safely on public roadways, ensuring all trucks & trailers meet DOT specifications
- Complete accurate driver electronic logs and submit them on a daily basis along with other required documentation according to company guidelines
- Completing the equipment return sheet when assigned to return equipment to a location / yard and obtaining sign-off by the dispatcher verifying the receipt of the returned equipment
- Maintain and repair truck and trailer equipment as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the Manager
- Ability to drive, remain deployed to field and / or wait on location for long periods of time
- Ability to manage client / customer relationships; excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to effectively and professionally represent Lucky Rental Tool at all times
- Performs other duties as assigned
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS :
Possess a valid Texas or New Mexico CDL- Commercial Driver’s License / Be at least 21 years of age.Must have a safe driving record one year / 12 months of recent CDL A driving experience.Understands placement of load securing devices (follow DOT requirements).Basic problem solving and organizational skills.Have good understanding of location restrictions such as power lines, guy lines on units, and other equipment on location.Has knowledge of loading and unloading frac tanks, checking to make sure they are empty, hoses are secure, valves closed before moving.Must be able to meet the physical demands of the position including (but not limited to); manually loading / unloading trucks & heavy lifting up to 40 lbs.Must pass pre-employment DOT & physical drug test as required by state & federal government & subjective to randoms, post-accident drug screens.Good communications skills both verbally and written.Education Requirements :
High School Diploma, GED, or the equivalent is preferred.
