Grant Coordinator

The Center for Courageous Kids (CCK) is a world-class camp serving children with serious illness and their families since February, 2008. Our year-round camp programs have served over 42,000 campers from 46 states and 13 countries. We serve children who typically would not be able to attend camp due to their illness and financial constraints. CCK provides respite and support for these children and their families and is designed exclusively for the use of an underserved and medically fragile population. The children and families who attend CCK are able to experience activities like horseback riding, boating, fishing, rock climbing and bowling with no limitations or barriers. CCK family retreats and summer camp sessions are offered at NO COST to the children and families we serve.

The Center for Courageous Kids is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Grant Coordinator to help advance our mission through strategic funding efforts. This role is responsible for identifying grant opportunities, crafting compelling proposals, and ensuring full compliance with funder requirements. The ideal candidate brings strong research, communication, and organizational skills, along with experience in nonprofit finance, AI-driven tools, and cross-functional collaboration.

Minimum Qualifications

• Proficient in typing, proofreading, and accurate record keeping
• Skilled in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and data entry programs
• Familiarity with grant search engines, databases, and grant tracking software
• Experience using AI tools for grant research, proposal support, and funder analysis
• Flexible, organized, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively
• Strong time management and analytical skills
• High level of integrity and professional ethics
• Understanding of nonprofit finances, banking, and charitable giving
• Prior experience with grant writing and funder compliance
• Strong research and comparison skills
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities
• Collaborative team player
