Position Summary
Reporting to the CFO, the FP&A Manager will be the key finance partner of the company's leadership team providing financial, planning, and analysis support and leadership on all aspects of Multisorb. The FP&A Manager will use a hands-on approach and be responsible for performing tasks communicated by senior management and ensuring the completion of analyses, budgets, forecasts, reports, and data analysis. The manager will maintain budget calendars and review project task trackers and be responsible for business analysis activities across multiple entities in Multisorb's budgeting, forecasting and business planning. This role will improve, develop, and establish metrics which support the organization's objectives. The role will support the broader business operation by preparing accurate financial statements by segment (Food, Healthcare, Industrial and Nutraceutical) and by providing analysis and insight to help other leaders understand and improve results.
The ideal candidate will possess deep ERP experience (Infor XA) functionality and will have the ability to understand and administer transactions in the system as well as understand the relevant proper accounting.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for the daily operations of the planning & reporting team, ensuring that management accounts are accurate and timely.
- Analyze data to understand and present the organization's financial performance and position. Include identification / implementation of enhancement for improved productivity and driving processes including development of action plans and implementation of tracking procedures and other specific initiatives.
- Responsible for maintenance of BI dashboards and creation of new ones
- Oversee the analysis, reporting and discussion of financial and operational performance
- Perform scenario analysis on the plant, while collaborating with the commercial and operations team
- Prepare financial insights and recommendations to senior leadership to support strategic decision making.
- Collaborate with and support stakeholders with all their reporting information requirements e.g. monthly / quarterly standard / reporting packages
- Lead and drive business decision support including specific initiatives or program support
- Review, assess and challenge segments on actual performance and variances against forecast, prior periods and plan
- Provide leadership role in driving strategic plan process including development of action plans and implementation of tracking procedures
- Track KPI numbers and performance against targets
- Provide support for contract reviews and analysis
- Ensure optimization of ERP system in the creation of management reports and templates
- Drive the annual planning process and target setting for the Company
- Work with Operations teams in the review of standard costs on a periodic basis
- Partner with business units to analyze financial results, key performance indicators and operational metrics.
- Collaborate with controller on month end close activities and reconciliations
- Working with the productivity teams in evaluating savings in productivity projects.
- Establish performance standards for the team and measure performance
- Perform other tasks or initiatives as directed by the Head of Finance, including ad-hoc projects
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of financial data and reporting across systems & teams.
- Continuously improve financial models, planning tools, and reporting processes to enhance efficiency and insight.
- Perform advanced financial modelling for large investment projects.
- Review investment projects / capital expenditure opportunities with the business teams.
- Perform post investment review of the completed projects with financial & commercial rigor.
- Respond to ad-hoc requests from Management and regional office.

Qualifications
3-5 years of relevant finance experience in manufacturingBachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or equivalent discipline3+ years relevant Accounting experience with increasing roles of responsibilityExperience with ERP administration and module implementation, InforXA a plusStrong BI experience for standard reportingAdvanced Problem Solving and Analytical SkillsAdvanced knowledge in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel and Power BIStrong understanding of financial principles, budgeting process, and business case evaluationAble to execute change strategies and bring change projects to successful completion.Strong collaboration skills with ability to work with cross functional teamsDemonstrates operational Finance knowledge and financial analysis skills with hands on knowledge of financial operations.Salary range $100,000 to $125,000 annual pay rate, depending on experience and education.
