Responsibilities

JOB PURPOSE

This position will support onsite operations, maintenance and repairs required for power generation at a Pattern Energy High Voltage Direct Current Converter Station(s) as directed by the Facility Manager.

KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES

• Support the Facility Manager in all areas of the Pattern operating site. Ensure a positive working environment by maintaining discipline, morale, and employee relations.
• Balance of Plant - operate and maintain associated plant equipment, including substations, transmission lines, electric motor(s) controls, low and medium voltage load centers, switchgear, and other site activities
• Lead the use of maintenance documentation, reporting tools and performance systems necessary for reporting and performance improvement.
• Provide hands-on technical support and supervision for plant equipment and power delivery systems, as well as with other facility civil work, building maintenance and upkeep.
• Enable teammates' ability and awareness to work safely and stop work as required. Support driving the injury-free workplace culture by facilitating safe work habits, hazard recognition, risk assessment, peer to peer feedback, and proper use of human performance tools.
• Manage site specific and corporate procedures, policies, training programs, safety programs and work practices and related updates as required.
• Balance and support facility public relations and community interactions.
• Maintain regulatory compliance with all Federal, state and local regulations and associated permits. Ensure obligations are met using the CMMS.

The expected starting pay range for this role is $38.21 – $47.77 per Hour, USD. This range is an estimate, and base pay may be above or below the ranges based on several factors, including but not limited to location, work experience, certifications, and education. In addition to base pay, Pattern's compensation program includes a bonus structure for full-time employees of all levels.
