Engineering Manager

A company is looking for an Engineering Manager for Shared Services to lead technical initiatives and manage a team focused on developing APIs and applications.

Key Responsibilities

Architect and build product features while unblocking the team

Manage team development through hiring, coaching, and performance improvement

Own the architecture of shared services and establish observability practices

Required Qualifications

Experience in enterprise-level software development, including data pipelines

Proficient in Python FastAPI, Ruby on Rails, MySQL, and AWS

Prior experience as a senior software engineer and team manager

Experience leading remote teams

Knowledge of security and compliance controls, especially within SOC2, HIPAA, or HITRUST
