Overview
We are a Landscape Architecture, planning, and urban design firm looking for an experienced Landscape Design Architect to join our team. This is a permanent position that offers the opportunity to work on a variety of exciting projects within the construction industry. The successful candidate will have the chance to showcase their skills in landscape architecture, design, and planning for a range of environments, including parks, planned communities, retail, and educational spaces.
Responsibilities
- Creating innovative design solutions for projects of varying scales and complexities.
- Utilizing software such as AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp to create detailed and accurate design plans.
- Collaborating with a team of architects, engineers, and designers to ensure designs are feasible and meet project goals.
- Leading and managing all phases of the design process, from initial concept through construction.
- Conducting site analyses, including the assessment of site conditions, identification of opportunities and constraints, and formulation of design recommendations.
- Preparing and presenting design proposals to clients, stakeholders, and team members.
- Incorporating sustainable design principles into designs, with a focus on achieving LEED Certification for projects.
- Ensuring all designs adhere to local and national regulations and guidelines.
Qualifications
A bachelor's or master's degree in Landscape Architecture.A minimum of 5+ years of professional experience in landscape architecture or design.Proficiency in design software, including AutoCAD, Adobe Creative Suite, and SketchUp.Experience in various project types, including park design, community planning, retail, and educational spaces.LEED Certification preferred.Professional licensure preferred.Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively.Proficiency in MS Office Suite.The ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.The ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.Salary
$110,000 - $160,000 per year
