What You’ll Do

  • Strategic Excellence and Best Practices : Create custom strategies and implement best practices for clients to achieve our NSMs. Use project phases as a foundation for the initial client strategy and continuously optimize based on client goals, campaigns, and performance while aligning with Directive best practices.
  • Collaboration : Work closely with the Associate Director (AsD) when roadblocks arise that impact strategy and goal attainment.
  • Creative and Campaign Planning : Craft creative briefs and content campaigns with a focus on ideation based on competitor and audience insights.
  • Best Practices and Frameworks : Apply practices such as LTV : CAC modeling, Customer Generation, Share of SERP, and Content Production to guide strategies.

What You’ll Bring

  • Proven track record of success in SEO principles and content strategy : keyword research, on-page optimization, and link building.
  • Analytical insight : ability to analyze website traffic and SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics.
  • Strong communication skills : comfortable with client-facing roles and owning relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with industry tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, SEMRush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog / crawling tools.
  • Organizational, project, and time management skills.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for digital marketing, SEO, and content.
  • Must have agency experience and B2B tech and / or SaaS experience.

  • Strategists are expected to regularly look for opportunities for clients to grow with Directive (e.g., expanding to another service line or increasing budgets). Referrals should be pursued at key moments such as leadership changes or new roles.

    Work Environment Requirements

    As a remote-first company, you can work from anywhere in the US, with optional offices in Irvine, CA.
