Schedule : Mon-Fri 7am-3 : 30pm
Pay Rate : $20-$36
Job Description :
We are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with manual lathes and mills, and a strong understanding of machining operations. This role involves fabricating, modifying, and repairing mechanical components and equipment in a production environment.
Core Responsibilities :
- Operate manual engine lathes and / or mills with precision.
- Set up machines according to blueprints and technical specifications.
- Select, align, and secure holding fixtures, cutting tools, attachments, and materials.
- Use math and measurement tools to calculate tolerances and dimensions.
- Identify and correct malfunctions or out-of-tolerance conditions.
- Inspect and measure completed parts to ensure accuracy and quality.
- Restart machinery after power outages or interruptions.
- Follow all OSHA safety regulations and company safety practices.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment.
- Assist in training new hires as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
