Location : Whippany, NJ

Job Description : Skilled and experienced in ETL testing for AbInitio ETLs with more than 8 years of experience.

An ETL tester validates data accuracy, completeness, and consistency in data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL) processes. Responsibilities include designing and executing test cases, troubleshooting data discrepancies, and ensuring the ETL system meets business and technical requirements by collaborating with developers and data analysts.

Responsibilities

• Data source and target testing : Test both the source databases to ensure data is extracted correctly and the target tables to ensure data is loaded accurately.
• Transformation logic verification : Analyze and verify that transformation rules and logic are applied correctly during the ETL process.
• Data integrity and quality assurance : Ensure data integrity is maintained throughout the entire ETL pipeline.
• Reporting and documentation : Document test results, defects, and the overall testing process.
• SQL and scripting : Use SQL queries to validate data and may use scripting or automation tools to assist in testing.
