The Director role will be a crucial part of the studio, driving presales, ongoing membership sales, hiring, team training and development, and business-to-business cross-promotions.
As the Director of Training, you''ll spend roughly 5-10 hours a week conducting small group personal training sessions (4-6 people). The rest of your hours will be focused on growing the membership by following up on leads, community networking and engagement, retention, client satisfaction and support, and staff training.
Unlike other companies, you''ll have direct incentives that compensate you based on studio performance. Overall, the hours will be somewhat flexible based on business needs and the team.
Key Responsibilities
Critical sales role during pre-sales and opening phase of the new studio with a goal of 100+ members prior to opening and then ongoing sales and retention to reach 150 total membersActively cultivate a “Stronger Together” Alloy communityCreate Remarkable Member Journeys : foster a welcoming and supportive environmentDeliver premium client engagement : In-Body assessments, goal setting, relationship-based client model to build an Alloy community of support and accountabilityOversee scheduling of staff according to operational requirements and payroll budgetsTrain, coach, and supervise staff in daily tasks and maximizing new memberships and retention, including weekly staff meetingsMonitor and mentor staff performance to ensure compliant membership servicesPrioritize goals to develop member and employee satisfaction, retention, and growth of membershipsCommunicate regularly with team and franchise ownerDemonstrates grit and perseverance : maintain determination and long-term goalsCritically assess situations to solve challenges that impact sales and member satisfactionOther duties as assignedCore Requirements
3-5 years of management and fitness sales experience preferredExperience in a stand-alone, high-end fitness club highly preferredExperience in presales or other applicable fitness salesLeadership and development of a fitness training team of 2 or moreDesire to help others achieve health and wellness goalsProficient consultation skillsProven leadership ability in an educational, fitness or professional settingAbility to hire, direct, coach, train, motivate and evaluate staffExcellent communication, time management and organizational skillsFinancial, business and human resource management acumenComputer literacyMorning, evening and weekend hours are requiredInstagram
