Job Description American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Level 1 ICU position requiring SD or compact RN license, ACLS, and BLS certifications.

Responsibilities Position is in an acute care hospital ICU (Critical Care Unit)

Unit has 39 ICU beds across three locations

Rotating day and night 12-hour shifts with every other weekend required

Nurse-to-patient ratio is typically 1 : 2, with 1 : 1 for high acuity and occasional 1 : 3 for overflow or transfers

Required to float to med / surg or step down units based on department needs

Charting is done in Epic EMR, with training provided

General nursing orientation is provided, including computer-based training, competency test-outs, EMR training, and unit-specific education

Navy blue scrubs are required for this position

Must be willing to float to other units with orientation based on skill set

All candidates must badge in and out at the facility

Must be available to work two of the three major holidays : Thanksgiving, Christmas, or New Year's

Candidates with prior employment at Sanford Health must have ended employment at least 6 months before consideration

Local candidates within 80 miles are accepted

Requirements Active SD or compact RN license required at time of consideration

Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience

Current ACLS and BLS certifications required

Experience with Epic EMR is preferred

Willingness to work rotating shifts including weekends and holidays
