\n\nTravel Nursing Job Details\n \n

  • Location : Reno, NV 89502 (Nevada healthcare jobs)\n
  • Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 11 / 3 / 2025 – End : 1 / 3 / 2026)\n
  • Unit : Medical Surgical Ortho-Spine (38 private beds)\n
  • Shift : 3x12 hour nights (18 : 45 – 07 : 15)\n
  • Hours per Week : 36 guaranteed\n
  • Employment Type : Travel RN, W2\n
  • Estimated Weekly Salary Range : $1680 - $1800\n

    • \n\nRegistered Nurse Qualifications\n \n

  • Active Nevada RN license (required prior to start)\n
  • BLS certification (AHA required)\n
  • Minimum 2 years of recent Medical Surgical nursing experience\n
  • Ortho nursing experience strongly preferred\n
  • Ability to float to other clinical units within competency\n
  • Willingness to work weekends and major holidays as scheduled\n

    • \n\nMed / Surg Ortho-Spine RN Responsibilities\n \n

  • Provide comprehensive nursing care to adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients in a fast-paced Ortho-Spine Med / Surg unit\n
  • Care for patients undergoing total joint replacements, ortho-spine surgeries, elective cervical / lumbar / thoracic surgeries, fractures, trauma, limb preservation, wound care, and medical overflow\n
  • Utilize the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care\n
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to coordinate optimal patient outcomes\n
  • Demonstrate adaptability in a Level II Trauma Center environment, serving a diverse patient population\n
  • Maintain high standards of quality and safety in all aspects of clinical care\n
  • Participate in holiday and weekend coverage as required\n
