Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Mammography Technologist with ARRT (M) certification and at least 1 year of recent mammography experience.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a dedicated mammography unit within a healthcare facility
  • Performs radiologic mammography exams and advanced procedures including stereotactic biopsies, clip placements, and drainages
  • Patient population focused on detection of breast tissue abnormalities
  • Monday–Friday, 4x10 hour day shifts per week
  • Uses Epic EMR for charting
  • Perform exams requiring independent judgment, creativity, and initiative
  • Ensure patient identification, order verification, and radiological safety standards
  • Maintain accurate documentation required by regulatory agencies
  • Works with minimal supervision and remains current on new equipment and procedures
  • Dress code and scrub color requirements to be confirmed during onboarding

  • Active ARRT registration with Advanced Mammography (M) Certification
  • Current state Radiologic Technologist license (license required if applicable)
  • Current AHA BLS certification valid through entire assignment
  • Must meet and maintain all ACR, FDA, and MQSA mammography requirements
  • Minimum of 1 year recent experience in mammography required
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Experience with mammography equipment and Epic EMR is preferred
  • Ability to lift, stand, walk, push / pull, and communicate effectively
