CHRISTUS Spohn Shoreline Hospital – Corpus Christi, TX

Christus Spohn Shoreline Hospital, an ACS verified Level II trauma center and comprehensive stroke center, is seeking a dedicated and experienced Advanced Practice Provider (APP) to join our Neurosurgery team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment where you will be an integral part of a busy neurosurgery service.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with the on-call surgeon to evaluate and disposition all neurosurgical consults from the Emergency Department and inpatient units.
• Round on all neurosurgical service patients, providing comprehensive assessments and collaborating with the interdisciplinary team to optimize patient care.
• Conduct outpatient follow-up appointments in our clinic, ensuring continuity of care for neurosurgical patients.
• Assist with neurosurgical operations as needed, including pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.
• Provide patient education and support regarding their neurosurgical condition, treatment options, and recovery process.
