Job Description
The Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP), supervised by the CMO, provides specialized wound management in home, nursing home, and assisted living settings.
- They perform assessments, develop care plans, and deliver treatments for chronic wounds, pressure injuries, and surgical wounds.
- Supervise nurses and medical assistants, educate patients and caregivers, and collaborate with healthcare teams.
- Requires a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing, active NP licensure, and wound care certification within 6 months.
- Minimum 2 years of clinical experience as an NP, with strong assessment and procedural skills.
- Position involves physical effort, travel (up to 25%), and adherence to safety and infection control protocols.
