Medical Director PACE Program Schedule : Full-time, on-site Monday Friday (no weekends) An innovative, mission-driven healthcare organization is seeking a Medical Director to lead a brand-new, state-of-the-art PACE (Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly) clinic. This role provides a unique opportunity to help build and guide a new center focused on empowering seniors to live with dignity and independence while receiving high-quality, comprehensive care. About the Opportunity : - Robust support from an experienced interdisciplinary team - On-site security, gated entry, and underground employee parking - Relocation assistance available Compensation & Benefits : Performance-based bonus incentives 401(k) with employer match Choice of six medical plans with up to 80% premium coverage for employees and 75% for dependents PTO starting at 20 days / year, plus 12 paid holidays and 2 floating holidays 5 CME days plus a $2,500 $5,000 CME allowance Generous relocation support for out-of-area candidates Key Responsibilities : Provide direct primary and preventative medical care to PACE participants Oversee day-to-day clinical operations and ensure adherence to quality and regulatory standards Recruit, train, supervise, and evaluate clinical staff including physicians and advanced practice providers Support a multidisciplinary team delivering coordinated, holistic care Lead and oversee quality improvement and utilization management initiatives Serve as a medical consultant on participant grievances, appeals, and care decision-making Build and maintain collaborative relationships with hospitals, SNFs, long-term care facilities, and community providers Ensure robust documentation and compliance with all PACE program requirements Participate in committees and provide thought leadership on best practices and evidence-based care Qualifications : MD or DO with active board certification in geriatrics, complex care, palliative care, home-based care, internal medicine, or related fields Current, unrestricted medical license in California Current DEA certificate Five or more years of clinical practice with at least two years serving an elderly or frail population Previous experience in PACE, SNF, or complex senior care models preferred Bilingual a plus, though not required Passion for mission-driven care and improving outcomes for high-risk seniors
