Primary Objective of Position :

To assist in officiating MCE youth basketball games for grades 3-5

Assignment :

2-6 games per week on Saturdays starting December 6, 2025 through March 7, 2026

Expected to attend referee training on November 16, 2025 from 6-8pm

Wages :

• Starting at $15.45 per game.

Additional $100 stipend for referees that work 25 games

• Additional $100 stipend for referees that work 50 games

Job Responsibilities :

• To referee youth basketball games in a safe and respectful manner.
• To ensure the proper use and care of the facilities and equipment used.
• To enforce safety rules and take disciplinary action when necessary.
• Other duties as assigned.

Job Qualifications :

• Demonstrated knowledge of the sport of basketball
• Ability to work with groups of students and adults.
• Ability to communicate effectively with the public.
• Ability to work under minimal supervision.
• Experience playing and / or officiating basketball
• Must be at least 14 years of age.
• Must attend required trainings
