Employee Relations Specialist (CHARLOTTESVILLE)

Assists with new hire orientation and staff training Completes termination paperwork. Assists with handbook, policy and contract (if applicable) interpretation. Responds to and follows up with unemployment claims; attends hearings as necessary Assists Department Managers and Administrator with employee retention planning. Provides FMLA, Cobra and workers compensation administration and follow up. Education and / or Experience : Minimum high school diploma or equivalent some college or technical training preferred. Minimum 3 years experience in Human Resources, preferably in the long term care setting. IND123
