Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

A Special Education Teacher is needed to provide instruction and support for students in grades 3-5. This contract position spans the full school year and involves working within various instructional models, including pull-out sessions, inclusion classrooms, and co-teaching environments.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Deliver specialized education services to students with diverse learning needs in grades 3-5.
  • Collaborate with general education teachers to implement co-teaching and inclusion strategies.
  • Develop and modify Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) tailored to student goals.
  • Monitor student progress and maintain accurate documentation.
  • municate regularly with parents, staff, and support personnel to ensure student success.

Qualifications and Experience :

  • LBS1 (Learning Behavior Specialist I) certification is required.
  • Proven experience working with students in grades 3-5 within special education settings.
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws, strategies, and best practices.
  • Ability to design and adapt curriculum to meet individual student needs.
  • Effective munication and collaboration skills.
