Job Description\n

American Traveler is seeking a Cath Lab / EP Technologist with at least 2 years of cath lab experience, active ARRT or CCI certification, and proficiency in scrubbing for travel assignments.

\n \n Responsibilities\n

  • Work in a cardiac catheterization lab environment, floating to multiple campuses within the same health system
  • Patient population includes adults requiring cardiac cath, structural heart, and EP procedures
  • Procedures may include cardiac catheterization, structural heart interventions, and electrophysiology studies
  • Call coverage and weekend / holiday shifts required as part of the schedule
  • Uses Epic EMR system; Epic experience preferred
  • Floating across campuses required as needed and may include various cardiac units based on skillset
  • Travelers must be willing to float to all campuses within their skillset as part of their assignment
  • Winter holiday coverage requires working at least 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year’s)
  • Requests for time off are limited to 1 day between 11 / 26-11 / 30 and 12 / 23-1 / 2
  • Dress code and scrub color requirements will be provided by the facility
  • Prior employees may be subject to a review of past employment history for eligibility
  • Proof of COVID vaccination or approved exemption is a condition of employment

  • At least 2 years of recent cath lab experience required
  • Active ARRT or CCI certification required; license required if applicable
  • BLS and ACLS (AHA) certifications required and must be current
  • Must be able to scrub independently and proficiently
  • Structural heart experience strongly preferred
  • EP experience preferred
  • Travel experience required
  • Epic EMR charting experience preferred
  • Must be willing to take call and work scheduled holidays
  • COVID vaccination required; medical or religious exemptions considered
  • One supervisory reference from the past 2 years required for consideration
