Shifts Available :
- 1st Shift, 7am-3pm
- 2nd Shift, 3pm-11pm (includes an additional $1 / hour Shift Differential)

Responsibilities
When your actions lead to success :
Communicates with production personnel and supervisors regarding problems or potential problems with equipmentTroubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical equipment, and electronic control circuits on flexographic printing presses, bag machines, slitters, laminating equipment, etc.Installs, starts-up and shuts-down equipment according to safety proceduresWorks with equipment vendors on installation of new equipment and coordinates efforts of equipment vendors.Conducts daily inspections of and performs maintenance as needed on incinerator equipment, air compressors, conveyors, and compactorsPerforms preventative maintenance on printing and converting equipment according to schedule and specificationsInspects rooftop air conditioners and heating unitsGeneral building maintenance as neededIdentifies major components needed for inventory and orders partsMaintains required maintenance records for equipmentAssists and trains other maintenance personnel as requiredEnsure maintenance office and work area is kept clean according to facility and corporate standards.Must be able to identify and understand use of specific hand tools without assistanceMust follow safety guidelines, wear designated Personal Protective Equipment, and meet OSHA safety requirementsMust follow written Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), follow Safe Quality Food (SQF) programs applicable to the position, and perform various cleaning and inspection duties to maintain SQF and food safety compliance as assigned. Report any potential GMP violations to Maintenance SupervisorOther duties as assigned by Maintenance SupervisorExpectations :
To efficiently maintain all production equipment and plant facilities in proper working condition for maximum productivity, while meeting time and outcome expectations and exceeding safety regulationsDecision making accountability :
Various decisions are made regarding how to make changes and repairs to equipment as much of the work is done independentlyIndependently assesses equipment issues, identifies necessary replacement parts, and is authorized to research, source, and order parts. If parts are obsolete, determines and secures appropriate replacement parts to ensure timely and effective repairs.Qualifications

Minimum of 3-5 years of relevant work experienceTechnical degree or advanced education preferredProfessional background
Experience in Flexographic printing industry as an Industrial Maintenance Technician preferredProfessional competencies
Welding experiencePLC knowledgeExperienced with maintenance on Flexographic Printing presses and Bag / Pouch machinesElectrical experience; AC / DC and high voltage equipmentWorking conditions :
Inks and solvents create strong odor in the plant.Frequent standing, walking, sitting, bending, stooping, and twisting during working hoursAbility to stand for the duration of the shift (8+ hours / day)Ability to exert 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and / or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and / or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly.Overtime, on call, and weekends may be requiredWhen benefits really help you live better :
